IV EURASIAN FORUM ON SAFETY AND DIGITALIZATION IN RAILWAY TRANSPORT

Transtelesoft LLC, as part of the TMH-IS group of companies, took part in the exhibition and discussion platforms of the "IV EURASIAN FORUM ON SAFETY AND DIGITALIZATION IN RAILWAY TRANSPORT"

The event was traditionally held on October 14, 2023, at the Academy of Logistics and Transport in Almaty. The forum's main task was declared to be providing a platform for discussing important issues of railway transport safety and digitalization, and developing preventive measures during transportation operations to prevent harm to human life and health, the environment, and damage to the property of transportation process participants and third parties. Representatives of the transport industries of the CIS countries, the USA, China, Europe, Southeast Asia, and other manufacturers of engineering and technical systems in the field of transport safety and information technology took part.

During the forum, panel sessions were held:

— Ensuring traffic safety on railway transport. Moderator: Marat Arapbekovich Shakenov, Director of the Traffic Safety Department of NC KTZ JSC

— Digital transformation of the railway industry. Moderator: Nurbol Zholdasbekovich Nurgaliyev, Director of the branch of NC KTZ JSC — "Directorate for Automation and Digitalization"

— Infrastructure modernization. Moderator: Konstantin Sergeyevich Gorbunov, Head of the Situational Center for Emergency Monitoring of JSC Russian Railways (RZD)

— Freight cars, maintenance and prospects. Moderator: Kayratken Sagatovich Nygymetov, Executive Director — Director of the Wagon Fleet Department of KTZ — Freight Transportation LLP

— Development of transport science and improvement of personnel training for the transport, logistics and communication industry. Moderator: Saltanat Nuradilovna Amirgaliyeva, President-Rector of the Academy of Logistics and Transport

— Operation and reliability of the locomotive fleet. Prevention of passing a stop signal using "Bort" safety devices. Moderator: Asan Iztleuovich Umbetov, Executive Director — Director of the Locomotive Operation Department of KTZ — Freight Transportation LLP.

At the corresponding panel session, Yevgeny Sergeyevich Belousov, General Director of Transtelesoft LLC, presented the report "Development of the 'Bort' Locomotive Traffic Safety System." The Head of the Development Department of Transtelesoft LLC spoke on the topic "Progressive Development of Locomotive Traffic Safety Systems."

The "Bort" locomotive traffic safety system is being widely implemented on a broad range of locomotive types in Kazakhstan and fully complies with both traditional safety device requirements and current requirements and trends in the development of unified digital platforms, the interaction of which forms a comprehensive digital management environment for railway transport and the transport industry as a whole. The "Bort" LSS has a corresponding reserve of computing power for fast multi-threaded data processing, with the ability to quickly and easily scale this power without significant material costs as the range of tasks to be solved expands — examples of which were presented in the reports.

At the exhibition stand, visitors familiarized themselves with the latest automation and traffic control systems for rail transport.
