USAVP-TEP33A — Testing and Commissioning in Almaty
From November 12 to December 5, testing and commissioning of the updated control program for the USAVP-TEP33A system were carried out on the Almaty–Saryozek–Almaty section in Almaty.

A distinctive feature of the new technology is the integrated solution combining the automatic train operation system with the "BORT" locomotive traffic safety system — the locomotive now has one fewer separate monitor for the driver's automatic train operation display, which means it is now more convenient and safer to drive the train, viewing the data on a single monitor and using its touchscreen keyboard for data entry.

Three control runs were conducted from November 29 to December 5, involving an acceptance commission made up of representatives from the following companies: Transtelesoft LLC, Transtelesoft LLP, AVP Tekhnologiya LLC, KTZ-Passenger Locomotives LLP, and Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC (KTZ).
During the three control runs, the commission had no objections to the system's operation: it correctly handles temporary and permanent speed restrictions, precisely executes traction application and braking, and reliably makes up for delays when running late. A thermal engineering analysis conducted during the runs noted significant fuel savings.
The commissioning was successfully completed; the commission recommends putting the USAVP-TEP33A control program into permanent operation, as well as transferring service maintenance to Transtelesoft LLP.
